Çifte Kemer Bridge

The Double Bridge is two adjacent arch bridges located in the Arhavi district of the city of Artvin in northwest Turkey.[1] The bridges are located on the Kamilat and Soğucak rivers. There are no inscriptions showing when the bridges were built. Scholars have estimated that the bridge was built in the 18th century, during the Ottoman Empire.Atlas magazine, on the other hand, states the date of construction as the 19th century.

Bridges are positioned perpendicular to each other. The length of both bridges is 3,550 m (11,650 ft) and 280 m (920 ft). They were renovated in 2002.Due to their architectural structure and limited width, bridges are only used by pedestrians.Modern roads are built slightly above the bridge.
