Cizre Castle
Cizre Castle, which was established in the city center of Cizre, on the banks of the Tigris River, consists of an outer castle and an inner castle. The castle, whose construction process can be traced from the ruins of the Roman and Byzantine periods, has survived to the present day in the form it took during the period from the seventh century to the 16th century, that is, during the Mosul Atabeks and Cizre Beys.
