Devil's Bridge
A narrow passage over the cliff, the Devil's Bridge, is an average of 15.5 meters long, 3 meters wide and 17-18 meters above the ground. The western end of the arch is directly attached to the main rock, while the eastern end is covered with andesite stones. The bridge, built in the 19th century, is in the Muradiye district. According to legend, it was named "Devil's Bridge" among the locals because a wedding procession fell from the bridge into the canyon and died. Resembling an eagle's nest over the Bend-i Mahi River, the Devil's Bridge is an important historical heritage of Van with its natural beauties.
