Diriye

In Diriye, famous for its traditional mudbrick architecture, there is Al Bujairi square, which has come to life again. This square resembles a labyrinth with its winding, traffic-free alleys lined with cafes and handicraft workshops. The Diriyah Museum and the restored Al-Zawihra Mosque, located in the old palace where exhibitions on Saudi history are held, are among the cultural attractions of the region. The river, with palm trees on both sides, passes through the Hanifa Valley, which is preferred for picnicking, walking and cycling by the water.
