Divrigi Castle

The surviving state of this castle, which is located on a rocky land on the slope overlooking the Çaltı Stream, belongs to the Mengücekoğulları Period. A two-line inscription indicating the construction of the castle is on the door. The castle is made of cut stone and has two parts called internal and external. Only a part of the walls of the outer castle has survived to the present day. The Monumental Leo Zodiac is located here. This bastion was raised 8 meters over a 10-meter facade. The inner castle walls, which are on a straight line going north from Aslanlı Bastion, were completely destroyed except for a few bastion pillars and the foundations of some of the main walls. It is an important work in terms of being an authentic Turkish Castle from its foundation to its bastion.
