Dumlu Castle

Dumlu Castle is 17 km from Ceyhan. It is located on a hard calcareous hill at an altitude of 75 m, west of Dumlu (Tumlu) District of Sağkaya District in the northwest. It is thought to have been built in the 12th century. Its circumference is 800 meters. There are eight constellations. There is a watchtower in the eastern corner facing the plain. Its only door faces east. There are building remains and cisterns in the castle. There are rock tombs around the hill.

There are many graves in the shape of a half cross in the north of the castle. These tombs are usually in the form of small handmade caves. A cave tomb and a mass grave were recently unearthed in the mosaic castle to the northwest.
