Ebu Derda Tomb
It was built as a spiritual office in the name of Abu Darda, the standard bearer of our Prophet. According to historical sources, it is possible that Abu Darda stayed in Bartın for a while during the siege of İstanbul in the 50th year of the Hijra. Therefore, this place has been accepted as a spiritual place. According to an undocumented rumor, it is said that the tomb was built by Toscuoğlu Hacı Rıfat Efendi, one of the Mufti of Bartın, and the year is unknown. From the available sources, it is understood that it was repaired after a great fire about a hundred years ago. The tomb, which has only a stone sarcophagus, has a small mosque, a junction water fountain and a well, attracts many visitors as a spiritual authority.
