El-Rızık Mosque

Er-Rızk Mosque has been largely destroyed today. The place of worship in the south of the mosque was destroyed as a result of a landslide. The northern wall of the sanctuary, the courtyard entrance façade, the crown gate and its minaret have survived to the present day. As a result of the repair works carried out in 1953, the front of the north portico was closed with a wall and this place was opened for use as a place of worship. The portal and minaret, decorated with an advanced level of stonework, are the monumental elements of the building. Adjacent to the northeast corner of the mosque, the cylindrical minaret on a high square prism pedestal is decorated with colored stones cut into small mosaics and fine geometrical patterns arranged with inlay technique. The minaret has a single balcony that does not protrude much and has a short honeycomb. The balcony of the minaret is reached by two separate stairs from inside its body. While the front side of the northern wall of the courtyard, which is in a dilapidated condition, shows an advanced level of stonework; The back face has undergone changes in various periods.
