Emir Sultan Mosque
It is near the Şeyh Mosque in the Cumhuriyet District of Kayseri. The mosque took its name from Hoca Izzettin Efendi, known as Emir Sultan, who is buried next to it. Since there is no inscription, it is not certain when it was built. The mosque, which was in a dilapidated state until the 1970s, was renovated in 1979-1980 with a restoration. On the right is the tomb of Evliya Sultan, which has a square plan. The tomb was built in the form of a Seljuk cupola with an octagonal pointed cone. There is a minbar-minaret on the entrance door of the tomb of the masjid. This minaret was built in 1980 repair. The minaret has four legs on a stone base and is covered with a flat roof. Unlike other minbar-minarets in Kayseri, there are no domes and small windows inside the minaret.
