Erenler Tomb

Erenler Tomb is located next to Erenler Cemetery in Erbaa district of Tokat, it has no inscription. Since its architecture and planning began in the 14th century, there are many tombstones from the 14th century around the tomb. A dome built with bricks was built on the square section of the tomb made of cut stone. There are arched openings on the four sides of the square planned tomb, which is covered with a dome. The dome is covered with a cone. Since the lower part of the belt stirrup is under the ground, it is not possible to reach the burial floor or the sarcophagus of the tomb. The tomb was built by piling up rubble stones and its surface was covered with cut stone. Cut stone was used in the construction of the arches and brick was used in the construction of the dome. There are flat vaulted niches made of bricks on the surfaces of the interior transition elements. The stone arch surfaces of the façade have half-star motifs connected by moldings.
