Gökçebey Memorial Tree
The acorn oak tree, located in the Kocameşe location of the Veyisoğlu Village of Gökçebey district, was registered as a monument tree in 2010 by the Karabük Cultural and Natural Heritage Conservation Regional Board. The landscaping and promotion of the tree was carried out by Gökçebey Forest Management Directorate and Forest Nursery Directorate. The memorial tree is estimated to be exactly 500 years old.
