Gordion and Ruins Museum

Gordion Museum, which was established in 1963 in Yassıhöyük Village of Polatlı district of Ankara, is one of the important museums of Turkey with its warehouses added in the 1990s, laboratory, display and information hall, indoor and outdoor exhibitions. The museum, which presents the works collected from the vicinity of the Polatlı district, especially those obtained from the Gordion excavations, on display chronologically, made it to the finals in the Museum of the Year in Europe competition in 2000.
