Goreme Historical Park
The park area is located in the volcanic region of Mount Hasan-Erciyes Mountain in Central Anatolia.
Domain; high plains separated from each other by plateaus, plains, small mountain vegetation, high hills, stream and river valleys filled with silt, drainage basins and erosive steeply sloping valleys. The large volcanic cones of the Erciyes and Hasan Mountains, which are a part of the Kızılırmak valley from the north, and eroded tuff beds, some of which are covered with basalt, dominate the land.
