Gümüşler Monastery

Located in the town of Gümüşler, 8 kilometers from Niğde, the ruins are one of the best and most beautifully preserved works of the Byzantines in Anatolia. Although the monastery is dated to the 10th century, it is estimated that its construction continued between the 8th and 12th centuries. The history of the church dates back to about 1200 years.
