Gümüştuğ (Avliyana) Castle
It is a castle located in Torul district of Gümüşhane. The ruins of the castle are located on both sides of a river. Arrows and spears from the Byzantines, rusted weapons, and coins minted in Istanbul are some of these remains. In addition, there are 5 columns 1.5 meters long standing upright on the left bank of the river. These formed columns are thought to belong to an ancient temple. The castle got its name from the village of Gümüştuğ, where it is located.
