Hacı Ahmet Sait Salepçioğlu Mosque
According to the will of Salepçizade Hacı Ahmed Ağa, it was built between 1897-1905 under the supervision of İzmir Judge Mehmet Emin Efendi. Some sources state that only the minaret was completed in 1905 and the construction of the mosque may have continued until 1907. The upper floor is designed as a mosque and the other floor is designed as a madrasah. According to the foundation charter dated 1893, a mosque was built on an infrastructure built by Salepçizade Ahmed Ağa, where there was a school, madrasah and classroom. In his charter, the revenues of about 80 shops and two large inns were left to be used for the mosque by Salepçizade Ahmed Ağa. In the region where the Büyük and Küçük Salepçioğlu inns were located, there is the Salepçioğlu Bazaar today. In 1924, the madrasa part was closed. After the closure of the madrasahs, it was used by organizations such as the Wrestling Specialization Club and the Green Crescent Society between 1945-1967. In 1985, the madrasa section was reopened for worship and today it serves as a Qur'an course.
