Hamamönü
Hamamönü is a historical region located in Altındağ district of Ankara province. It remains within the borders of Hacettepe District. The historical buildings, which are examples of 19th century civil architecture in the region, were restored and the region was revived. Hamamönü took its name from the Double Bath, which was built by Karacabey, one of the Bayındır tribesmen of the Oghuz tribes. The historical Karacabey Bath is located here. Mehmet Akif Ersoy Park, where the National Anthem is written, and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Museum House are located in the park.
