Hani Baba Mosque
SEYH AHMED-I HÂNÎ was born in 1591 in Han village of Çukurca district of Hakkari. He was known by the nickname of Sheikh Hani Baba due to his birth place and being from the Hani tribe. Hani is a father, poet, historian and Sufi master. Sheikh Ahmed-i Hani passed away in 1652 in Doğubeyazıt. His tomb is 8 km from Doğubeyazıt. It is on the upper part of the İshakpaşa Palace, which is located at a distance.
