Hersekzade Ahmet Pasha Mosque
Another important historical building you can visit while visiting the popular touristic town of Dirne, Keşan, is the Hersekzade Ahmet Pasha Mosque, where you can see the architectural features of the 15th century Ottoman period. The historical building, which has managed to preserve its solid architecture for hundreds of years, takes its name from Ahmet Pasha, who was the grand vizier and captain-i-admir in the Ottoman Empire. You can easily reach the mosque, which is worth seeing with its plain design, impressive tiled mihrab, pointed arch stone carvings and a 150-meter diameter lead-covered dome, within a short walk from the center of Keşan.
