Hisar Castle
The only historical artifact that can be seen in Hisar is an ostentatious medieval Castle. Genoese Period. Genoese, in return for their help to Mikhail VII (1059-1078), who was the Byzantine Emperor between 1071-1078, obtained extensive concessions in and around the Izmir port.
