Historical Çemberlitaş Bath

Çemberlitaş Bath, which was built by Mimar Sinan in 1584 at the request of Nur Banu Sultan, is among the baths located close to the Grand Bazaar. The bath, which has men's and women's sections, was also known as the Valide Sultan Hamam and the Rose Bath in the past. Çemberlitaş Bath is also mentioned as the Third Murat Bath in Evliya Çelebi's Seyahatname. What makes Çemberlitaş Hamam special is that some of the navel stones have Ottoman inscriptions.
