Historical Kütahya Houses
Kütahya houses, which are examples of 19th century civil architecture and carry the wooden architectural features of Anatolia, still live in accordance with their originals. It carries the best examples of the old mansion culture with its unique two- and three-storey architectures, wooden buttresses, window layout and wide eaves. The characteristic Kütahya house is usually large. In exterior colors, the surface is painted in white, dirty yellow, indigo or ocher color, and it is stretched (earth) plaster. It is possible to see these houses lined up along the street in Germiyan and Ahierbasan Streets.
