Historical Taraklı Houses
Taraklı, located at the southernmost tip of Sakarya Province, was built in the 19th century. It is a district famous for its Ottoman Period houses and historical buildings. The area where the Taraklı Houses are located has been declared a protected area and taken under protection. There are 120 historical houses in this area. The streets of Arnavut Kaldirimli, which have resting stones for the rest of the load-bearers, and the decorations of these streets that smell of history, look like a cultural museum with Ottoman Houses and Taraklı. Due to these features, there has been a significant revival in terms of domestic tourism in recent years.
