Historical Tepedağ Houses

Tepebağ Houses are located in Tepebağ neighborhood of Seyhan district. Tepebağ Mound is the oldest settlement of Adana. In addition to the ancient ruins in the mound, it is possible to come across Tepebağ Houses, which are examples of Ottoman civil architecture. The statuette of Nurse Sitsnefru (Satsneferu) from the 12th Dynasty of the Egyptian Middle Kingdom Period (1900 BC), which is exhibited at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, was found in Tepebağ Mound.
