Historical Yeniköy Bridge

Yeniköy Village is a neighborhood in the Arsin district of Trabzon province. The bridge, located on the Yanbolu Stream, has a single eye and pointed arch. The arch and parapet ends of the bridge were built with cut stone, while the other parts were built with rubble stone. There are square shaped father stones with medallions on four faces at the ends of the balustrade. The walking part of the bridge, which has stepped entrances, was built with regular rubble stones. The upper body is curved. The arch abutments of the east-west oriented bridge were placed on the stream bed. The length of the bridge is approximately 27.20 meters and its width is approximately 4.25 meters. The bridge, which cannot be connected to the main vehicle road, is reached by a stabilized road.
