Hoca Ahmed Fakih Mosque

Hoca Ahmed Fakih Mosque, 13th century Seljuk period mosque and complex in Meram district of Konya.

Although İbrahim Hakkı Konyalı wrote that there are many outbuildings next to the mosque, only the restored and deteriorated version of the mosque and the tomb of Ahmed Fakih have survived. Konyalı, in his Konya History book, mentions the wall remains of an old zawiyah between the water organization of the bath located on the qibla side of this mosque and the Karatay Masjid right next to it, but these have not survived to the present day.

The mosque and the complex were renovated in 1909. This inscription was written in black on a blue background and there was an ornament with Seljuk tiles next to it.

Today, the mosque and mausoleum, which have largely lost their originality, are open for worship in Konya, Meram, Armağan district, on Hoca Ahmed Fakih street with the same name.
