Hz Ukkase Tomb
While passing through Sakçagözü on the way from Gaziantep to Adana, you can see a hill surrounded by greenery on the left side of the road before reaching Nurdağı. On this hill, in the Tomb of His Holiness Ökkeşiye, lies Ökkeş or His Holiness Ökkeşiye, who gave his name to thousands of people in Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep region. It is believed that His Holiness Ökkeşiye was one of the five people who were martyred in the conquest of Gaziantep by the Muslims and that he was a Companion. The place where the tomb is located is called Ökkeşiye. The grave is located on the top of the mountain, and there is plenty of water in the wells located at the bottom of the grave a few meters deep.
