Ibrahim Hakki Hazretleri Tomb

The Tomb where the Light Event takes place consists of two rooms covered by one large and two small domes, a hall and a tower with 8 corners and a height of 10 meters. Every year on March 21 and September 23, when day and night are equal, the “Light Event” takes place in this tomb.

İbrahim Hakkı Hazretleri built a wall with stones without mortar on a hill 3-4 km east of Tillo. With the effect of this wall, popularly known as Kal'at-ül Üstad, the first rays of the rising sun overshadow the entire mausoleum, while the sun's rays passing through the 40*50 cm window in the wall illuminate the window of the mausoleum tower and from there, through the mausoleum window, the head of the sarcophagus of İsmail Fakirullah. Regarding this system, Ibrahim Hakkı Hazretleri said, “If the first Sun of the New Year does not fall on the bedside of my teacher, what will I do with that Sun!...”, showing his respect for his teacher İsmail Fakirullah Hazretleri.
