İbrahimbey Mosque
İbrahimbey Mosque is located in Kale Neighborhood of our district. In the inscription above the entrance door of the mosque; It is stated that it was built in 1705 by İbrahim Bey, son of Murtaza Bey, from the Garzan tribe. The mosque has a plan scheme of mosques with zaviye, with a large dome covering the front of the mihrab and smaller domes covering the two side spaces. Located in the south part of a small courtyard, the mosque has a narthex with five arches in the northern part and a minaret in the northwest corner. The Harim consists of a main space in the middle and side spaces of equal size on both sides. The side spaces are separated from the middle space by a pointed arch and covered with a dome. Transitions to the dome are provided with pendants. The pendentives were built with cut stones and the domes were built with bricks. A light hole has been opened in the upper part of the main dome pendentives. There are eight niches on the walls of the sanctuary. There is a semicircular profile altar in the middle of the south wall. The entrance of the minaret, which was built on a five-sided pedestal, opens to the narthex. The middle section of the five-section narthex is covered with a pointed arched vault in north-south direction, and the two sections on each side are covered with a small dome resting on pendentives. The building, whose interior and exterior walls are covered with cut stone, has survived to the present day.
