İplikçi Mosque

İplikçi Mosque, also known as Ebülfazl Masjid, is located in the Kürkçü neighborhood to the east of Alaeddin Hill. The fact that the mihrab remains of this period are in place, a charter record and the mention of its name in the medieval sources make the structure more important. The building was first called Ebülfazl because of its first builder, and then Ahmed Bey Mosque because of its revival. As İplikçi Necîbüddin Ayaz, who was mentioned in the foundation charter dated 1202 of the Altun-aba Madrasa, which was located next to it in the past, was the trustee of the madrasah and there was İplikçiler Çarşısı nearby.
