İskilip Castle

Located on the trade route from Istanbul to Amasya, in the town center of Iskilip and dating to the Ottoman Period, the castle is rocky on three sides. It is possible to exit the castle only from the northwest. There are rock tombs from the Roman Period at the foot of the steep cliff on which the castle was built. There is a second gate in the castle, which is dated to the Seljuk Period.
