Iznik Nilüfer Hatun Imaret Turkish-Islamic Arts Museum
It was built as an almshouse in 1388 in memory of Nilüfer Hatun, the mother of Sultan Murat I. It is one of the most beautiful examples of the 14th century Ottoman Empire. It is the first soup kitchen built with a "T" plan in Ottoman Architecture. The building is constructed of three rows of stones and has a rich and colorful stone and carrier. The organisms of the columns and piers covered by the structure, domes and vaults begin with a portico. The main section is entered with a door on it. The main part is covered by a dome with an illuminating lantern. The sides of the main space are covered with a dome.
