Kadı Mürsel Mosque

Kadı Mürsel Mosque is located on Mimar Muzaffer Street in Gazi Alemşah Neighborhood. If you walk for a while on the street known as Arapoğlu Makası to the east of Alaaddin Hill, you will come across Kadı Mürsel Mosque, across the Meram Public Education Center, ahead of the Rampalı Bazaar. The mosque was built in 1409 by Celâleddin Mürsel, son of Hacı Mustafa, known as Kadı Mürsel, one of the well-known kazaskers of the Karamanoğlu Period. Although it was built at the beginning of the century, it looks like a work from the first half of the century. The work, which was repaired at various times, was rebuilt at the end of the Ottoman Period. Its original inscription is placed next to the sundial on the qibla wall of the Hacı Hasan Mosque, located around the Konya Province Mansion.
