Kalehisar Castle
In the direction of 1 km west of the village, about 100 m. in height and 150-200 m in diameter, at the foot of 15-20 m, which narrows from the base to the top and narrows and sharpens and divides into two forks, there are rubble stone foundations built on the foundation and rock surface and the remains of wall foundations in places. The north side of the castle is quite steep. There is a water cistern with a descent and ascent of about 40 m. in the section with a veritable slope in the south direction, which provides descent from the inside to the bottom of the castle with double steps. The steps leading up to the castle (eroded by mechanical disintegration) and the water arcs channeling the water droplets on the surface are evident on the south facade. At the upper point of the castle, there are the remains of a square-shaped building on a rubble stone foundation mudbrick wall on the northern slope and the remains of two buildings with the same characteristics on the southern slope.
There is a temple built by the Hittites for the fertility gods and an altar in the direction of sunset in the western part of the hill. There is a water well 3-5 m below the south-western end point of the section where the god Cybele and Vuruşama sat and accepted the gifts offered. This structure, which bears traces of Hittite, Phrygian, Byzantine, Seljuk and Principalities periods, was examined together with Kalınkaya during H. Z. Koşay's excavations at Alacahöyük in 1936.
