Kalender Baba Tomb
Kalender Baba Cupola is in the cemetery area and has been repaired by the General Directorate of Foundations in line with the decision of the board. The cupola, built of Ahlat stone, has two floors. There is a funeral part on the lower floor, this part has a square plan. The square lower base joins the cylindrical bodies with upward corner chamfers at the corners. The door of the cupola is on the north side and is located in the body part. The exit to the body is provided by a stone staircase that can be climbed from two directions. There are windows on the west and south facades of the cupola. The inside of the windows are decorated with muqarnas. The skirt molding on the outer surface of the body is embroidered and has 12 widths. The cylindrical body rises from the top of this molding. The inner surfaces of the body and burial part of the cupola are also cylindrical. There are 12 frames that are closed with a semicircle and knot from the outside of the body. There are vertically rising geometric patterned ornaments between these frames. The row is surrounded by a horizontal bracelet with the same pattern on the body. It forms an integrity with the natural water source and the cemetery around the cupola.
