Karesi Bey Tomb
It is the tomb built for Karesi Bey, the founder of Karesi Principality in Balıkesir. The tomb, which was destroyed in the 1898 Balıkesir earthquake, was rebuilt and repaired by Hayrettin Bey, the mayor of the time. Karesi Bey and his five sons are buried in the tomb.
