Kars Ulu Mosque
Kars Grand Mosque is a mosque located in the Kaleici Neighborhood of Kars, Turkey. It was built in 1643 by Dilaver Pasha, who was the Governor of Kars during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim. The mosque was destroyed by burning during the years when Kars was under Russian occupation after the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War. In 1997, it underwent a restoration that lost its originality.
