Kasımpaşa Mosque
Kasım Pasha Mosque is located in Söğüt district. It is one of the classical Ottoman mosques and one of Mimar Sinan's apprenticeships. It was built at the request of Kasım Pasha, one of the commanders of Suleiman the Magnificent. The building is very interesting with its stone walls, wooden swing windows and altar, woodwork and ivory decorations. Its pulpit is covered with white marble tiles of various colors.
