Kastamonu Double Bath

The bath was built in 1514 by Yavuz Sultan Selim's teacher, Halim Çelebi. The bath is made of rubble stone and mortar and is covered with a wooden roof. The plans for the men's and women's sections are the same. There are large dressing areas with domes on them, as well as domed entrances and cold rooms. In the front of the washing rooms, there is a dome in the middle, vaulted arches on the sides, and two private rooms with domes side by side at the back. The bath was repaired in 1728.
