Kastels (Fountains)
Some of the 16 kastels (fountains) in the city have lost their original details, some have no water left, and some have been registered as immovable cultural assets. The water of the kastel and fountains active in the region is provided from the wells outside the city and KAPTAŞ built around the spring waters. The leading castels of Kilis are Salih Ağa Kasteli, Kuru Kastel, İpşir Paşa Kasteli, Fellah Kasteli, Kurdağa Kasteli and Nemika Kasteli.
