Kayseri Great Mosque (Camikebir)
Kayseri Ulu Camii (also known as Sultan Mosque or Cami-i Kebir) is a mosque built towards the middle of the 12th century, located in the city center of Kayseri, Turkey. It was the largest building in Kayseri at the time it was built. The mosque, which was built in the plan type directed in depth, is one of the oldest examples of this plan type in Anatolia. The tomb behind the qibla wall is thought to belong to Melik Mehmet Gazi.
