Kemah Castle
Kemah Castle is a castle located within the borders of Kemah district, in the province of Erzincan in Turkey. It was built around 205 BC, presumably by the Azrak kings. With the Siege of Kemah in 1515, the castle, which was under the control of the Safavids, passed to the Ottoman Empire. Excavations continue as of 2019 in the building, which has an area of 8,000 m2 and a height of 80 m.
