Kinzi Castle
Located approximately 32 km west of Ardahan, Kinzi Castle is located to the east of Bilbilan Plateau, northwest of Bağdeşen (Kinzodamal) Village. When we look at the construction style and workmanship of the castle, which is not known exactly when it was built, it is understood that it is from the Urartians. Kinzi Castle, which is located at a point that dominates the Yalnızçan Pass and the Ardahan Plain, consists of two separate parts, the outside for defense and the inside for shelter. Kinzi Castle, known as the Urartian settlement, is located on an elevation of nearly 2200 meters. The castle was also used by the Seljuks and Ottomans. As long as the road is open, Kinzi Castle can be visited easily in all seasons.
