Ağadere Mecruhin Hospital is one of the most important places where health services were provided to the Turkish army behind the front during the Battle of Çanakkale. The name of the region is referred to as “Ağadere” in some sources and as “Ağdere” in some sources. In the Gallipoli Peninsula, which witnessed all the violence of the Çanakkale Battles in 1915, the collection and dispatch of the wounded from the south and north were carried out from the Ağadere Region. This deep valley was home to divisional hospitals, Hilali Ahmer Hospital and bandages and Hilal-i Ahmer teahouses.

4th Division Mobile Hospital, 9th Division Mobile Hospital and 1st Mobile Hospital of 3rd Corps are located in Ağadere Region. After Maydos was bombed by enemy forces, the hospital it housed was moved to Ağadere Region. Ağadere, which includes four large hospitals, has struggled to heal thousands of soldiers from the front. From 25 June 2015 to the end of November, a total of 150,868 soldiers were dispatched from Ağadere and Akbaş delivery hospitals, of which 99,275 were injured, 33,794 were sick and 17,799 were air change.
