Kop Martyrdom, which is located close to the city center of Bayburt and about 40 kilometers from the Bayburt-Erzurum highway, is among the first places to be visited by local people and visitors who come to the city for touristic purposes.
Kop Martyrdom was built in memory of our soldiers who resisted the Russian forces and were martyred in the Coruh Basin in 1916. The year of construction is 1963.
The Martyrdom is located in Kop in the Maden town and has an easy access road. For this reason, it is among the sightseeing spots of the tourists coming to Bayburt.
