Kubadabad Palace
Kubadabad Palace, located in Beyşehir, is known to have been built by the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat in 1236, after he was impressed by the beauty of Beyşehir. A city was formed around the palace, but only the remains of the palace structure have survived to the present day. Excavations started in the palace area in 1980 and the artifacts obtained are exhibited in the Karatay Museum and other museums in the city.
