Kurşunlu Mosque & Complex

Kurşunlu Complex is located in Eskişehir Odunpazarı district. It was built by Shepherd Mustafa Pasha, known as Shepherd, Gazi, Melek. According to the inscription on the mosque door, it was built in 1525. The mosque, the 20-room zawiya, the teaching place, the guest room, the soup kitchen, are known as zawiya and madrasah among the public and in various publications. It is not known which sect it was for when the zawiya was first opened. However, it was later converted into a mevlevi lodge and continued until the closure of lodges and zaviyes. The caravanserai, which belongs to the complex, is not mentioned in the charter. It is recorded in Tuhfetül Mimarin that Mimar Sinan built a caravanserai in Eskişehir. Although the mosque is attributed to Mimar Sinan, only the name of the caravanserai is mentioned in the lists of the works of Mimar Sinan.
