Kütahya Bedesten

There are two arastas between Takvacılar Mosque and Saadettin Mosque, where Kavaflar Street passes. Although these two structures, which look like a Grand Bazaar, were built at the same time, they became the commercial center of Kütahya with the merger of the shops opposite each other.

GREAT BEDESTEN: The monumental building, which was built by Gedik Ahmet Pasha in the 15th century, was used as a vegetable and fruit sales place until 2008, but was restored with the allowance provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

SMALL BEDESTEN: The monumental building, which was built by Gedik Ahmet Pasha in the 15th century, was used as a place to buy and sell old and new goods until 2008, and was restored by the Kütahya Municipality.
