Kuva-yi Milliye Museum
The building, which was used as headquarters during the years of the National Struggle, served as the municipality building between 1947-1988. After the establishment of the museum directorate in 1987, restoration works were accelerated and the building was opened to service as Balıkesir Kuvayi Milliye Museum on September 6, 1996, after the collection of artifacts was completed.
