Kyzikos Hadrian Temple
There are four temples discovered so far in the city of Cyzicus. The largest and most important of these is the Temple of Hadrian. The Temple of Hadrian, located at the site of the ancient city of Kyzikos, is located in Düzler, on the Banrma-erdek highway, approximately 300 m above the highway. The construction of the temple was started in the name of god zeus, but it was not finished. After the earthquake in 123 AD, the construction of the city was resumed after Emperor Hadrian's visit to the city. Its completion only takes place during the Antonine period (m.s.138-197). however, in a new earthquake between 150-155 AD, there will be great destruction in the temple and in AD. It was repaired again in 167. After the 6th century Istanbul earthquake, it was left to its own fate.
